Biography
Born in Dublin, Rep. of Ireland, in1983 to an Irish mother and an Italian Father, Francesco was raised in Rome, Italy where he currently lives.
Growing up in a family that had a deep passion for the arts, film and music, he was exposed to the beauty of the moving and still image from his early years.
His Father recognized Francesco's curiosity and creativity thus decided to buy him his first camera at the age of 8: it was then that he began his journey as a visual artist.
After working professionally as a freelance photographer, filmmaker and VJ in Rome under his childhood nickname " Skino", he moved to New York City were he attended an intense internship experience at Milk Studios, one of the biggest fashion and celebrity photo studios in New York City.
He then moved back to Rome where he completed his university studies writing his thesis in Visual and Cultural Communication , regarding photos taken by his grandfather during World War I, and the importance of visual communications for political propaganda.
Soon after that, he moved back to New York to shoot fashion look-books and to increase his international experience.
He is currently living in his home town Rome, but working in Milan for fashion and design companies.

Biografia
Nato a Dublino nel 1983, Francesco Ricci Lotteringi sviluppa la sua passione per la fotografia a Roma, dove cresce in un ambiente famigliare incline alle arti visive che lo stimola a tal punto da vederlo gia' a otto anni con una macchina fotografica in mano.
L'ossessione per i volti maturata nel corso degli anni, lo porta a specializzarsi in ritratti che cerca di catturare sempre e ovunque.
Dopo una tesi sull'importanza della fotografia nella documentazione storica, in cui pubblica alcuni scatti inediti del nonno durante la prima guerra mondiale, inizia a lavorare nel campo della moda.
Nel 2008 a New York assistente per Milk Studios e fotografo per The News showroom di broadway.
Tornato in Italia si divide tra Milano e Roma dove realizza cataloghi di moda, intraprende collaborazioni con il mondo dello spettacolo e assiste vari fotografi.
Attualmente vive e lavora a Roma.
